The best way to care for your sterling silver jewellery is to wear it! The natural oils in your skin "clean" the silver, and keep it looking nice and shiny!
Avoid exposure to household chemicals, chlorine and sulfur-containing substances.
Make sure you put on your accessories after getting ready as some beauty products can accelerate tarnish - and be sure to take your jewellery off before swimming, showering and exercising.
Keep your pieces stored separately in a cool, dry place and add a piece of chalk or a silica pack to the storage area to absorb excess moisture.
There are places you can take your silver jewellery to be cleaned, but it's also quite easy to do at home :)
If you start to notice a bit of tarnish on your piece, give it a quick polish either with a special silver cloth or a clean microfiber cloth. If this doesn't work, try making a thick paste of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and water and apply a small amount to the sterling silver and polish. Run the piece under warm running water and dry with a microfiber cloth.
Bamboo and polymer clay earrings should be removed before swimming or taking a shower as water can damage the piece.
It is probably also best not to submerge any Fallen Apple jewellery in water - just in case! :)
